Lowry and Jan Gabrial passed through La place du Théatre Français, Paris after leaving the Gare Du Nord on 30th December 1933; "At the Place du Théatre Français, the fountains played as snowflakes drifted into them" (Jan Gabrial Inside The Volcano Pg. 41).
