Castle Street, Liverpool

One of the original seven streets of Liverpool. Named after now demolished Liverpool Castle. Linked the Castle to old town. Joe Passalique settles his account at Howell’s bookshop at No 46 ('Goya The Obscure' Pg. 270). Dana passes down the street in Ultramarine; "He retreats up Church Street, Castle Street, down the old Ropery again." (Pg. 69).
