Formed in 1896 by Albert James Feldman (1874-1945). The firm were based at 125/127/129 Shaftsbury Avenue, London. Feldman thrived by taking up the English rights to such American songs as
Alexander’s Ragtime Band and during WW1 he had a huge hit with
It’s A Long Way To Tipperary. In 1925 he bought up Herman Darewski Co, and in 1953 the company was acquired by Francis, Day & Hunter.
Feldman published one of Lowry's songs
I've Said Goodbye To Shanghai which he co-wrote with Ronald Hill.
